Dreaming is forbidden here, forcing dreamers to choose between donning a crown of silence or embarking on a path through a desolate wasteland.For those non-citizens who possess citizenship but remain uncertain about their place in this country, their lives, and their future, the drama “An Enigma” serves as a perfect reflection of their predicament.Message From the Director:Listening and creating are two entirely different endeavors. We are portraying the stories that have been seen, heard, and read on stage. There is undoubtedly a challenge in transforming distorted noises into harmonious music. Experiencing both comfort and discomfort while working is common, and it is the discomfort that sharpens our willpower, pricks our consciousness, and gives rise to the “Voices”.One might wonder how powerful these voices will be, but that is another story. We can only hope that the sorrowful, profound voices reach the ears that need to hear, touch the hearts that need to understand, and influence the decision-makers to lead in the right direction. But is this possible? Here arises an unanswered question. Do those in positions of power, sitting comfortably even in a warzone, truly listen?
